Olympics

So as the London Olympics come to a close I just wanted to take some time to reflect on some of my favourite athletes!

Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins of Team GB Celebrate their Olympic Gold Medal in the Women's Double Sculls final!

Victoria Pendleton didn't win gold in her final race but she has had a tremendous career and I think we should pay great respect to her. Also, her rival Anna Meares who raced brilliantly to win the gold!

Micheal Phelps. The most decorated Olympian there is. Enough said.

The Dream Team. Now I know they haven't won anything yet but these guys are awesome to watch and you just gotta appreciate greatness!

Laura Trott, the new face of the Women's Omnium. I think she is an inspiration. 20 years old and with a gold medal already, wow!

So being British I am very proud of this man, Sir Chris Hoy. However, being Scottish I am even more proud! He is the best that we've seen and I am a bit gutted that he won't be at the Rio Olympics but he will forever be the best!

Now I have always loved gymnastic and I was really proud and excited when I watched the men's GB gymnastic team take Bronze, what a buzz!

Mo Farah, born in Somalia moved to Britain when he was 8 years old. Fast forward 21 years and hes now a double Olympic Gold Champion in the 5000m and 10000m!

Katherine Copeland and Sophie Hosking holding their gold medal in their first ever Olympics! And to think that a few years ago they were the last pick in the British team!

Andy Murray. He won his gold in Tennis in the Wimbledon courts to the same man that beat him in the Wimbledon final! The next tournament is now a free-for-all!

Bradley Wiggins. After winning the tour de France he went and won gold in the Time Trial. Sports Personality of the year?

Jessica Ennis now that is an athlete! She won the Heptathelon and wow did she impress!

Cute little tom Daley won his Bronze medal last night. I am totally chuffed for the 18 year old. After a year of struggle he came through to show everyone what he can do!

I saved the best for last...Usain Bolt. The fastest man in the world. My favourite sportsman of all time. Won the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m relay. Period!
